We
embraces an active, non-judgmental spirit on inquiry and investigation in the pursuit of a good quality of life for America's junior troops and their families.
Taking special care that our actions are beneficial, not harmful to its internal participants, the military at large, and current and future military families.
Our Goals:
To assist the
families of young Service members of rank E-3 and below by
providing basic household necessities (including furniture,
children's clothing, appliances, kitchenware, and infant's
necessities such as diapers and cribs) free of charge to families
in need
To actively
encourage young families to seek out the programs and services
available to them through the Military through an approach
emphasizing personal outreach and guidance
To foster a
positive attitude toward Military life
Our Methods:
H.E.L.P.
provides "recycling" facilities to match unwanted furniture and
household items donated by local households with the families of
Service members of rank E-3 and below in need of these items
H.E.L.P.
informs young Service members families about assistance programs
available to them (such as Family Services programs, W.I.C.
assistance, medical and wellness programs, Education Office
programs, and basic Base Housing maintenance procedures) and
guides individual families to the programs most appropriate to
their needs.
